Albert was a great guy with a dry wit and colourful sense of humour. He was a good engineer and a hard working colleague. From the era when we worked together on the Pacific Western Airlines Hercules Operations in the high arctic and overseas there were countless funny adventures that Albert played a key part in. He was a good man who will surely be missed by his family and friends but his memory will live on in the photos and stories we will recall and cherish. Rest easy old pal!!

My deepest sympathy goes out to all of you. My fondest memory was the true love he had for his family, I only wished for a man to love me half as much as the loved he showed to his wife.

Sorry to hear of Alberts passing! He had quite a sense of humour! I remember an incident at YXD, our crew chief, Ted Kopyn was running a DC4, and Albert jokingly yelled up to him," Go ahead backup"! This just infuriated Ted, as the DC 4 didn't have reverse! Two Dutchmen from different parts of the world! The war was on! We couldn't stop laughing.
My condolenses to the family.
