Adolf Schubert passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at the age of 85 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Margarete; daughters, Marynell (Rennie) Favero and Margaret (Denny) Milinkovich; sons, Roy (Sharon), Kenney (Teresa) and Allan (Suzanne); his brother, Julius (Nellie); sister-in-law, Adele Schubert; eight grandchildren, eleven nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Edmunde and Gustav, sister, Ella Schmidt and brother, Ewald.
Adolf was born in Smily, Poland, September 11, 1927 and immigrated to Canada in 1950 and settled in Edmonton where he met Margarete and they resided until October, 2009 before relocating to Calgary, Alberta. Relatives and friends may pay their respects Wednesday, January 9 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue.
Funeral Service Thursday, January 10, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 10759 - 96 Street, Edmonton, AB. Interment to follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
