SANGER, Alan Rodney
With great sorrow but profound gratitude for a diverse, caring and full life, the family announces the passing of Alan Sanger on April 26, 2013 at the age of 70.
Alan will be forever loved and remembered by his wife, Vera; sons, Michael and Matthew; mother, Hazel; aunt, Sheila; cousins, Jane (Annotte), Clair (Stephen) and Lynne (Stephen) and their son, Cody; mother-in- law, Mary; sister-in-law, Violet (Charlie) and their daughters, Susie and Sarah; and brother-in-law, Nicholas and his sons, Ioan and Elis. Alan was predeceased by his father, Bernard; father-in-law, Nikita; uncles, Cyril and Alan; second cousin, Christopher.
Prayers will be held Tuesday, April 30 at 7:00 p.m. and the Funeral Rite on Wednesday, May 1 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony's Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 6103 - 172 Street, Edmonton, Alberta, T6M 1C1 with Reverend Father Patrick E. Yamniuk officiating. Interment to follow at Rosehill Cemetery. If desired, donations may be made to St. Anthony's Ukrainian Orthodox Church or to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, c/o Cross Cancer Institute, 11560 University Avenue, Edmonton, AB, T6G 1Z2.
