MCGREGOR, Catherine Anne (Cathy)
1951 - 2013
Catherine Anne McGregor (Cathy) passed away peacefully on February 14th, with her husband by her side, after a long battle with cancer.
She is predeceased by her father and mother, Rory and Maude McLennan.
She is survived by her husband, William (Bill) McGregor; her daughters Kristen McGregor (Clifford Campbell) and Lindsey McGregor; her brothers Don McLennan (Elaine McLennan) and Robert McLennan; her nieces Carol McLennan and Deanna McLennan; and her beloved dog, Charlie.
An avid painter, Cathy loved art and always took time to notice the beauty and details in the world around her. She enjoyed taking part in the Beaumont Artists Association, working at Cozy Peaches, and sharing the experience of reading a novel with her book club. Above all, she loved experiencing adventures together with her husband Bill.
Cathy loved having people around. She always enjoyed visits with her daughters and never hesitated to enjoy a time out with her many close friends. She was always eager to celebrate life's many joys. She will be missed greatly by her family, and all those who got to know her.
A Memorial Service will be held at: Millwoods United Church, 15 Grand Meadow Crescent, Edmonton, Alberta, on Wednesday, February 20th, 2013 at 1:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Salvation Army in Cathy's name would be greatly appreciated.
