WILLIAMS, Darren Dean "Dee"
Born October 5, 1972 and passed peacefully in his sleep at home on March 28, 2013.
Dee will be forever remembered and lovingly missed by his mother Jackie (Ralph); father Gary (Ethel); brother Warren and sister-in-law Natalie and their children Kaitlyn and Rylan; step-brothers Jason (Ruby) and Trevor (Kim) Oliver and their families; step-brother Stephen Schaaf; step-sister Janine Aquine; brother-in-law Travis (Irene) Peever and their children Nasia and Ty; his auntie Gerri (Brian) Chiles and auntie Judi (Derek) Best and his loving cousins Becky (Ed), Elliott (Bridgit), Melissa (Clint), Alexis (Jimmy), and Aaron (Sheena), and special auntie Donna and cousin Diane.
In addition there are numerous friends, co- workers, and business associates who will miss Dee's smile, upbeat personality and outlook on life. Many strong relationships and friendships were made because of this. Dee valued these connections during his lifetime. Dee was a larger than life cuddly bear who would do anything he could for them. Dee was one of the gentler, softer, and lovable individuals you could have in your life.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ardrossan Recreation Complex, 80 - 1st Avenue, Ardrossan, Alberta. A private family interment will take place at a later date. As Dee loved "his kitties" a memorial donation in his name to the Edmonton Humane Society or to the Stollery Children's Hospital, would be greatly appreciated in lieu of flowers.
Please join us after the memorial to share your stories and memories with the family.
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep
I am a thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glint on the snow
I am the sunshine on the ripened grain
I am the gentle autumn and spring rains
When you wake to the morning
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flights
I am the soft star that shines at night
Do not stand at my grave and cry
I am not there, I did not die.
You are in my heart and I in yours
until we meet again.
