FONTAINE, Frances Jeannette Mary (nee Mullen)
August 24, 1927 - December 12, 2012
Frances Fontaine of Calgary passed away
on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at the
age of 85 years.
Frances was born in Kimberley B.C. on August 24, 1927.The Mullen family later moved to Legal, Alberta, where Frances graduated and was later employed as the Legal School secretary and shared the duties of Secretary and Treasurer for the village of Legal with her husband Peter. She eventually worked for
The Alberta Department of Agriculture until retirement.
Frances was predeceased in 2002 by her
first husband Peter Titiryn and second husband Rolly Fontaine in 2008. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Ray and Laurie Titiryn, Paulette and Paul Kennedy and Bob and Patti Titiryn; step- children, Denise and Gordon Irwin, Linda Hinton and Cathy Fontaine and Wayne Lamoureux; grandchildren and their spouses, Barry and Shauna Titiryn, Krysta and Dave Robinson, Cassandra Kennedy, Jenny Titiryn, Michael and Carrie Kennedy, Danielle and Ken Sutton; Step-grandchildren, Stephan Hinton and Kendra Ojanpera, Chris Hinton, Jeremy Leahy, Lynsee Leahy, Jody Irwin, Christine Irwin and Dwight Muhlbeier and her great- grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at McINNIS
& HOLLOWAY'S Park Memorial Chapel
(5008 Elbow Drive S.W. Calgary, AB) in August of 2013. Graveside Service to
follow at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be forwarded through The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff
of Palliative Home Care and Sarcee Hospice for their care and compassion. We would
be remiss in overlooking a thank you for
help and support from Frances's friends
and neighbours of Horizon Village, where
she resided.
In living memory of Frances Fontaine, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park.
