TWARDY, Frieda
On December 21, 2012, Frieda Twardy of Edmonton passed away at the age of 102 years.
Frieda is survived by her daughter, Erica Greentree and her son, Alvin (Laura) Twardy; eight grandchildren; twelve great- grandchildren; two brothers, John and Adolf Klause; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Predeceased by her husband, John; son-in-law, Dennis; sister, Olga Brokop and brothers, Henry and Sam Klause.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the caring staff of the Dr. Gerald Zetter Care Centre for their care and devotion in looking after Mother over the last six and a half years.
Funeral Service Friday, December 28 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 10759 - 96 Street. Pastor Sigmar Reichel officiating with interment in Edmonton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
