We are sad to announce the sudden death of Gaétan Foisy of St. Albert on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at the age of 51 years, from a tragic accident.
Gaétan is survived by his girls . . . wife Cathy (Moffat), daughters, Michelle (Iain), Alyssa (Mike), Stephanie, and Carlye (David).
He is also survived by his family in Quebec; sisters, Gisèle (Carol) and Huguette; and brothers, Réal (Gilberte), René (Lise), Robert (Lyse), and Ronald (Hélène); and many nieces and nephews.
Also mourning his loss are his Mother and Father-in-Law, Lynda and Leo Moffat, his sisters-in-law Carrie and Deanna (Jim).
Gaétan was predeceased by his Mother, Marie-Rose Savard Foisy, and his Father, René Foisy.
He was proud to be employed by the Imperial Oil Refinery for over thirty years. Gaétan's love for life was his girls, his family, his work, his sports and his home improvements. He always had a positive attitude, a smile and a willingness to help others.
Visitation will be held Thursday, February 21, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive. A Funeral Service will be held at the same location on Friday, February 22, 2013 at 1:00 p.m.
