MCLEOD, Gordon Grant
June 5, 1941 – June 5, 2018
Gordon Grant McLeod died on his 77th birthday, a symmetry that would please the former banker, businessman, and spreadsheet fan.
He was dearly loved and is sorely missed by his spouse of 53 years, Kathleen, and his children John (Mandy), Graham (Tim), Kristan (Shawn), and Andrew (Melanie).
After growing up in Regina and graduating from University of Saskatchewan, Gord and Kath lived across Canada before ending up in Edmonton 39 years ago. Gord loved golf, the art of the BBQ, and teasing his beloved grandchildren Sydney, Julia, Edie, Nellie, Amelia, Seamus, Emma, Malcolm, and Declan. Predeceased by his parents Cliff and May, sister Peggy, and infant son Joseph, Gord leaves his brother Ian (Donna), cousins, nieces, nephews, and great friends near and far.
Not one to impose, he requested no service. Donations in Gord's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, NWT & Nunavut, Suite 144, 5241 Calgary Trail NW, Edmonton, AB T6H 5G8, or to a charity of your choice.
