KING, Harley (Bud)
With sadness, we report the passing of Bud King on March 24, 2013.
He is survived by his wife Maxine King, two brothers-in-law, three sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Harley and Annella King, two brothers and four sisters.
Bud grew up on a farm in the Acme area of Alberta and never lost his affinity for the land. He worked in various aspects of the Petroleum industry and retired as a Petroleum Land Man for the Chieftain companies.
Upon his retirement, he continued with his first vocation-farming.
Following cremation, a Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 3 at 10:00 a.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home, south of Wye Road on Range Road 232 in Sherwood Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Edmonton Community Foundation for the Edmonton Public Library Shelley Milner Fund.
