John Edward Kapena Taylor June 22, 1930- May 6, 2013 Aloha John - surrounded by his soul mate and wife of 58 years - aloha wau i'a oe kuu ipo, Auddie and his loving family, he left us quickly to reunite with our Lani, his two brothers, nine sisters, Mom and Dad, in a peaceful place, free of pain and care. He leaves a great legacy he created in life - a true Hawaiian heart of gentleness, love, protection and pride in his family: Kai (Jeannie), Maile (John), Dia (Pierre), Tina (Scott), Tara (Joe), Kane (Erin); grandchildren, Ross, Faye and Dale Taylor; Lindsay, Amanda and Brendan Bower; Kiani, Kina and Kai Pope and their father Rocky; Leilani, Kapena and Taylor Gaylard; Cole, Tiare and Nalani Stang; his golden friend Tini; neph-son Alan (Nancy) Meneer, Don (Willie) Meneer, Tish Blanchette (Wayne); his loving sister, Lauriette, sister-in-law Lori Taylor, George (Peggy) Doig; generations of nieces and nephews, too numerous to name and many, many friends. The love and joy that showed in his face as each of his own came into his sight let him know how much love they had to give.
We will have a happy celebration Hawaiian style for an incredible man June 22 his 83rd birthday.
