McGRATH, Lucille Laura
On Sunday, February 10, 2013, Lucille of Fort Saskatchewan passed away peacefully at the age of 78 years.
Left to cherish their many memories are her two sons, Michael and Patrick (Frances); two grandchildren Christopher and Amanda; siblings Liliane Smelquist (Edward), Florette Gaumont, Louis Villeneuve (Irene), Robert Villeneuve (Lynda); sisters-in-law Mary Hannah, Charlotte Giddings and Dawna McGrath; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. She was predeceased by her husband Edmund in 1999.
Respecting her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at 7:00 p.m., in the Lions Pride, at the Dow Centennial Centre, 8700 - 84 St., Fort Saskatchewan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 18, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Lamoureux, AB. Lucille will be layed to rest in the family plot in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in memory of Lucille may be made to the Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital Foundation, Canadian Blood Services or the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
