Marnie Lynne King April 14, 1965 - April 29, 2013 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marnie Lynne King, our beloved wife, mother, daughter and sister.

Marnie passed away at the age of 48 on Monday, April 29, 2013 in Edmonton, Alberta after a 9 year long courageous battle with illness.

Marnie is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Glenn and their two children, Jenelle and Brian. She is lovingly remembered by her twin sister, Marilyn, sisters Brenda and Janice and brother John together with father and mother Bob and Nina Conner; mother-in-law Loreen King, numerous sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Marnie was born in Regina, Saskatchewan on April 14, 1965 together with her twin sister, Marilyn. Marnie became a registered nurse and married Glenn King on February 22, 1986. Marnie was a generous and devoted mother to her children and family and carried this generosity to all aspects of her life. She will be deeply missed by all.

The service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on May 5, 2013 at the Woodvale Facilities on the grounds of the Millwoods Golf Course at 4540 - 50 Street, Edmonton, Alberta. As this is a Celebration of Life, the family has requested that black not be worn. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Lyme Disease Foundation.
