JEFFERY, D. Maxine
March 11, 1929 - November 8, 2012
It is with great sadness that the family of Maxine Jeffery announces her peaceful passing on November 8th at the age of 83 due to complications after a fall.
Mom is survived and lovingly remembered by her son Brent, her daughter Gail (Jim, Brett, Maris, Ford Clapperton), her son Boyd (Xiomara, Kai), her brother-in-law Ron, her nephew Dan (Jessica, Lauren, Mitch), her niece Lisa (John), numerous relatives in Eastern Canada, and by many dear friends.
Mom was pre-deceased by her husband Bill, her sister Elaine, her mother Constance, and her father Russell.
A viewing and informal reception will be held on November 13th at Hainstock's Funeral Home (9810 34th Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta) from 7 - 9 p.m. and a celebration of Mom's life will be held at Grace United Church (6215 104 Avenue Edmonton, Alberta) at 1 p.m. on November 14th, 2012, with time for the exchange of stories and memories during a light lunch to follow in the church basement. Burial will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery (5420 106 Street, Edmonton, Alberta) after the lunch.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta (10531 Kingsway Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta,
T5H 4K1).
