BINGHAM, Patricia Louise
It is with great sadness and much love that we say goodbye to our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Patricia Bingham who passed away peacefully on February 16, 2013 at the
age of 66.
She will forever be remembered by her children, John Tucker (Christine) of Edmonton, Paul Tucker (Tina) of Grand Junction, Colorado, and David Tucker (Tara) of Edmonton, grandson Matthew Tucker and great-grandson Jace Tucker. She is also survived by sisters Carol Paredes, Adelle Ashment and brother Eric Bingham.
Predeceased by her parents, Clarence and Mary Bingham.
Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, Patricia came to Edmonton in the early 1970's and made this her home. She studied at the University of Alberta and received her teaching degree while raising her three sons. She taught for over 25 years with Edmonton Public schools and her greatest joy came from teaching kindergarten children, especially at the inner city schools of Edmonton where she had a huge impact on the students. Her life was dedicated to not only her own children, but also the children she taught during her career. Her kindness and generosity will always be remembered by those who had the opportunity to know her.
Cremation has taken place. There will be Celebration of Patricia's Life in Oakland, California at a later date.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of 3W, Misercordia hospital who cared so much for Patricia during her two weeks there. Also, a special thank you to her wonderful, caring friends from her church, who visited her daily.
Memorial donations in Patricia's name may be made directly to the Edmonton Humane Society, www.edmontonhumanesociety.com
