WATT, Robert McDonald "Bob" 1927 - 2010 It is with heavy hearts and immense sadness that we the family of Robert McDonald Watt, announce his peaceful passing at home in the early morning of Tuesday, May 11th, 2010 at the age of 82 years. Bob is survived by his loving wife Lynn, his three daughters; Lynda (Richard) of Vancouver Island, BC, Maryanne of Calgary, AB, Sharon (Mike) of California, USA, and his two sons; Sandy (Carol) of Calgary, AB, and Bob (Sally) of Red Deer, AB. His memory will be forever cherished by his five grandchildren; Sara, Marlo, and Alex of Calgary, and Scott and Richard of Red Deer. He will also be missed by his sister-in-law Sharon Mason of Victoria, BC. Bob was predeceased by his parents Ethel and Alexander as well as his brother Jim. Bob was born, raised and attended school in Alberta. He was a home builder by trade, and an avid downhill skier. He had a passion for and loved the game of golf and he really enjoyed his fishing. Bob was a proud playing member of the Edmonton Waterloo Mercurys Hockey team. They won the gold medal for Canada in the 1952 Olympics which were held in Oslo, Norway. It was truly emblematic of his love for the game. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. In respecting Bob's wishes there will be no formal funeral service held. Condolences may be forwarded to the family at www.parklandfuneralhome.com . In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes in Bob's name may be made to the charity of donor's choice. In living memory of Bob Watt, a tree will be planted in the Parkland Funeral Home and Crematorium Memorial Tree Park in Red Deer County, AB.
