BELLMAN, Steve Jr.
1932 – 2012
With great sadness, we announce the passing of Steve Bellman Jr. on November 20, 2012.
He passed peacefully, surrounded by family. His memory is cherished by Jamie Dumond, his precious companion; his sister, Anne (Jack) Harrison and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents, Steve and Lillian; sister, Mary Geary and brothers, Walter, Paul and Bill.
Steve became an entrepreneur with various interests, particularly local entertainment, antiques and auctions.
All of his life, Steve spent helping others anyway he could. In his youthful years, he trained with the City Police to become a most popular wrestler. He was a co-owner of Angelo's Restaurant with Oscar Kruger. It was a popular meeting place for visiting celebrities.
Funeral Rite Thursday, November 29 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John's Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, 10951 - 107 Street. Right Reverend Stephan Semotiuk officiating with interment in St. Michael's Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Edmonton Humane Society (SPCA), 13620 -163 Street, Edmonton, AB T5V 0B2.
