LITTLE, Valerie (Val) Anne (nee Harrison) On the evening of July 5, 2018 Val quietly slipped away. Val is survived by her loving husband, Iain Little; as well as many cousins; siblings-in-law; nieces; nephews; and so very many dear friends who might as well have been family, for that's how she thought of everyone she met. Predeceased this year by both her parents. At a very young age she started her career as a dancer with the Edmonton Ballet Company (later to be the Alberta Ballet). Then, practicality set in and after graduating with a degree in chemistry, Val and her best friend were the first two women hired as chemists at the Alberta Research Council. From there she moved on to be a Human Resource Consultant. In 1987 she returned to her true passion - theatre. She was a talented interactive performer, balloon artist, magician, dancer, writer, director, producer and mentor. In 2013 she was diagnosed with an aggressive and cruel illness that took her from us bit by bit. She endured agonizing pain without complaint and, although we will all miss her dreadfully, let us take comfort that her pain has ended and she is dancing once more. As per Val's request, there will be no service. Photos, memories and condolences may be shared through www.parkmemorial.com.
