It is with great sadness and heavy hearts, but with joyful gratitude for the gift of his life, we would like to announce that our dearest Husband, Dad, Grandpa and Great-Grandpa, Esten, has passed away peacefully from this world.
Esten married Caroline Barlund, October 21, 1950, the love of his life. They were married 63 joyful years and raised two wonderful children, Doug (Deb) and Donna (Jay) Turon; then four beautiful grandchildren, Chrystal (Kevin), Jennifer (Mike), Dana and Darryl; four great- grandchildren, Alyssa, Kaytlyn and twins, Brooklyn and Harper. He was predeceased by his mother, Lily and father, Samuel; sister, Eileen; and brother, Lyle.
He had a love for music and dancing. He volunteered at the Cross Cancer Institute and was a dedicated member of the Masonic Lodge #193.
Memorial Service Saturday, August 23 at 11:00 a.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton with Pastor Doug Hale officiating. In lieu of other tributes, donation may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, NWT & Nunavut.
