WILLIAMS, Norma Edla
July 11, 1931 - August 18, 2014
Mrs. Norma Edla Williams of Edmonton passed away suddenly early on Monday, August 18, 2014 at the age of 83 years. She is lovingly survived by her four children David (Jeanette) of Edmonton, Vicki (Rick) Wisniewski of Surrey, BC, Allan (Brenda) of Edmonton and Tyler (Kathy) of Edmonton; 8 grandchildren Christina, Josef, Kyle, Katrina, Jayden, Sydney, Teresa, Isaac; and her younger brother George (Beth) Mackie of Blind Bay, BC.
Norma was born in Red Deer, attended hairdressing school in Calgary and was married in Edmonton. After her marriage the family lived throughout Alberta following work in the oilpatch before finally settling down in the Ottewell area of Edmonton. She had a great sense of flair as she decorated the family home and planned the garden. Norma spent her final years at Southside Manor with her family close by.
Cremation and a private memorial service took place on Friday. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made in Norma Williams' name to the Alberta Division of the Canadian Mental Health Association.
