JOHNSTON, Alice Mildred
Alice Mildred Johnston (Mydaniuk; Leminski) departed us on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at the age of 87 years.
Celebrating her life are her sons, Randy (Hei-jin) and Paul (Kimberley) Johnston; eight grandchildren; eleven great- grandchildren; her sisters, Helen (Joseph) Muryn and Doreen Bracuk; three nephews and three nieces.
In 1945, she wed Norman Schuler, who was killed within a month in a military plane crash. From 1949-1964, she was married to Fred Johnston in Edmonton. After 2003, she lived primarily in Victoria with long- time companion, Earle Gidney. Following a long career with AGT (later Telus), she managed the Society of the Retired and Semi-Retired in Edmonton. We dearly miss our beloved mom, grandma, great- grandma, sister, aunt and friend.
