ARLIA, Palmerino
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of husband, father, grandfather and brother, Palmerino Arlia at the age of 74 years on August 29, 2014.
Left to mourn his loss are his wife of 55 years, Rosa; children, Giovanna (Giovanni) Parrotta, Joe (Jessy), Tony (Leeann), Franco (Karen); grandchildren, Maria (Mike) Pundyk, Joe (Justine) Parrotta, Lisa, Ashley, Kevin, Palmerino, David, Nicolas, Christopher, Marko and Adriana; great-grandchildren, Natalia, Keanna and Gianluca. Palmerino is also survived by his brother and sister, Antonio (Gina) Arlia of Edmonton and Rosina (Francesco) Bossio of Italy; sisters-in-law, Teresa, Angela and Maria Arlia all of Edmonton. He was predeceased by his parents, Giacomo and Giovanna; brothers, Francesco, Giuseppe and Carmine; niece, Angela and great- nephew, Niko.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at the Grey Nuns Hospital, Unit 24 for their compassion and exceptional care.
Prayers Thursday, September 4 at 8:00 p.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church, 9110 – 110 Avenue, Edmonton.
Mass of Christian Burial Friday, September 5 at 9:30 a.m. at Santa Maria Goretti Roman Catholic Church. Entombment in Holy Cross Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, NWT & Nunavut, 10985 - 124 Street NW, Edmonton, AB T5M 0H9.
