Peggy also leaves behind two great-grandchildren Caden and Maya. A former May Queen and an inductee to the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame as a member of the champion Army and Navy Pats softball team, Peggy grew up in Riverdale and spent most of her life in Edmonton. Her friends and family admired her for her courage and indomitable spirit. Her grandchildren will also remember her for her sense of humour, chocolate cake, flapper pie, Christmas stockings, playing 'Stop the Bus' and cribbage, and weekends at Baptiste Lake. Friends are invited to join the family for a memorial to be held May 7th at 2:00 p.m. in Peggy's garden at 7308 Rowland Road. In lieu of flowers, those who wish are invited to join Peggy and her family in supporting the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital Foundation ( ).
