NOBERT, Maurice John Maurice John Nobert passed away peacefully on June 23, 2010 at the age of 79 years. Dad was a loving father and grandfather. He was loved and cherished by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. Dad is survived by his daughter Sylvia (Danny), grandchildren, Chantelle (Geoff) and Jenna (Scott). His brothers, Dale (Maria), Roland (Joanne) and Norman (Celine) and sister, Vivianne, sisters-in-law, Sr Doris, Madeleine (Avner), Gertrude, Cecile (Paul) and brothers-in-law, Henry (Evelyn), Rene (Sheila) and Maurice (Lise) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by the love of his life, Annette of 52 years. A Visitation for Dad will be held from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011 - 114 Street, Edmonton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church, 7508 - 29 Avenue, Edmonton. From Elizabeth Thomas of Port Morien, NS. Maria's grandmother remembers Maurice with fond memories of a Christmas spent in Edmonton. He and Annette, Alice and Rose were all there that year, and it was a lovely family gathering. Maurice kept us entertained with lots of stories of their travels. He was such a wonderful person. He leaves many happy moments in the hearts and minds of his family, friends and all who knew him. May he rest in peace in the joy of his heavenly home. Blessings to all the family.
