Cornelia Visser Obituary
September 23, 1936 - August 6, 2011
On August 6, 2011 Cornelia Sinclair of Morinville passed away in the loving arms of her daughter Petra following a valiant and courageous four year battle with lung cancer. Corrie will be dearly missed by her children Ingrid (Grant) Mantie, Karin Visser, Petra (Dave) Porisky and Frans Visser, her grandchildren Susan (Brad), Clinton, Ryan, Stephanie, Melissa, Bailey and Lily and her three great-grandchildren. At Corries request Cremation has taken place.
Donations in honour of Corrie may be made directly to the Canadian Diabetes Association, PO Box 26331, Stn Brm B, Toronto, ON M7Y 4R1 or Canadian Cancer Society, 201, 9452 - 51 Avenue, Edmonton, AB T6E 5A6.

My dear oldest sister Cornelia Maria klijmeij (Sinclair/Visser), she was one off a kind, I loved her very much, a warm personality, a great spiritual soul, an open mind, I will never forget her and keep all the good memories in my heart. I am a singer and dedicated a song to her some years ago on my CD 'Let it be' the song is called: THE WAY WE WERE. Every time when I will perform with this song I will think of Corry, the sister I loved so much. She had a big courage to carry her illness, never complaining and always positive. Corrie was een voorbeeld voor iedereen, altijd positief, altijd stoer, altijd een mooie, goede indruk achterlaten. Met haar was ´t altijd alsof ik met mijn eigen moeder stond te praten. Ik zal haar missen.

Oldest sister of family, Corrie, was always full of life, and never complaining about her physical problems. She will be missed for her witty sayings which kept everyone laughing, even in times of difficulty.
