GILLARD, Master Corporal Kyle Warren
On May 21, 2012, Master Corporal Kyle Warren Gillard of Edmonton passed away at the age of 32 years.
Kyle is survived by his loving parents, Annemarie (Luc) Fontaine of Strathmore, AB and Kenneth (Cheryl) Gillard of Lake Cowichan, BC; two brothers and one sister, Ryan, Ross and Soleil; grandmothers, Vera Honer and Thelma Gillard; aunts and uncles, Stephen (Joanne) Honer and Valerie (John) Gillam. He was predeceased by grandfathers, Henry Honer and Lloyd Gillard.
In 2002 Kyle joined the Canadian Forces and is a veteran of two tours in Afghanistan. He was a proud member of the Canadian Signals Branch. Kyle was very adventurous and loved to participate in outdoor activities. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.
Public Viewing 10:00 a.m. prior to the Funeral Service Wednesday, May 30 at 11:00 a.m. at Edmonton Garrison Lecture Training Facility Building 407 Korea Road, CFB Edmonton with Captain Claude Lussier, Chaplain of 1 CER officiating. Cremation to follow.
