CAMPBELL, Alan
July 15, 1938 - August 14, 2012
On August 14, 2012 at the age of 74, Alan passed away peacefully at home.
He is survived by his wife and best friend of 56 years Gwen; children: Brian (Karen), Alanna, Sharon (Scott) and Darren (Leanne); grandchildren David (Heather and Lily), Blaine (Tracy), Alyssa, Taylor, Chelsey, Robyn and Caitlyn; sisters Elaine (Norbert), Jean (Alex), Claire, Mickey (Wes) and Lynn (David) and sisters-in-law Deanie (Emil), Doreen, and brother-in-law Charles, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, close friends and colleagues. He was predeceased by his parents (Glenn and Winnifred), siblings Ross (Alice), Junie (Ray), Willa and Keith.
The family would like to sincerely thank the AHS home care providers Janice, Leslie and Katrina.
As per Alan's wishes, there will be no funeral, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Canadian Mesothelioma Foundation or the charity dearest to him, the Edmonton Down Syndrome Society.
