It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our husband, father, papa, brother, uncle and friend, Lloyd Stevenson.
Lloyd lived 80 interesting years full of flying, traveling, x-country skiing, camping an d spending time with family and friends.
Lloyd was an accomplished First Class Power Engineer and held various prestigious positions including Alberta Government Boiler Inspector and Professor of Power Engineering at SAIT. He was also a successful businessman owning Mobile Home parks in Creston, Cranbrook and Hope, BC.
He was an expert Pilot, owning many planes as well as being an avid car enthusiast.
Lloyd will be sadly missed by his loving wife Helen, his daughter Inga Rindal (Justin), son Lyle Stevenson(Nee), grandchildren Patrick, Jenelle, Charlotte, Catalina and Asia. His sisters Ev Ladouceur, Ruth(Dick) Callaghan, Gladys(Al) Zeilstra and brother Ray(Marge) Stevenson; as well as many nieces, nephews, and close friends. Lloyd was predeceased by his brother Harold, his son Bill and his grandson Graham. Donations can be made in loving memory to the Alzheimer's Society.
At Lloyd's request there will be no funeral service and his ashes will be spread in the Kinuso area where he was raised. If friends desire memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Red Deer, 4419 - 50 Avenue, Red Deer, AB. T4N 3Z5.
