SEMKIW, Rosalia "Rose" (nee Choma)
1922 - 2013
After a long courageous battle of bone infection, this beautiful, loving, caring lady had to succumb to its defeat on January 3, 2013.
She will be forever remembered by her devoted husband of 68 years, Jerry of Edmonton; her son, Jim (Donna); her granddaughter, Katrina; her grandson, Jonathan and two great-grandsons, James and Ryan, all of Victoria, BC. She also leaves behind her brother, Harry (Mary) Choma of Hilliard and her sister, Nettie Herchek of Edmonton; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Predeceased by her parents, John and Anne Choma; three brothers; four sisters and a very special furry friend, Flossy.
Prayers, Monday, January 7 at 7:30 p.m. and Divine Liturgy Tuesday, January 8 at 10:00 a.m., both services to be held at Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, 6425 - 120 Avenue, Edmonton, AB. Interment to follow in St. Demetro Ukrainian Catholic Church Cemetery (The Farm Church), Junction of Rge Rd 173 and Twp Rd. 542. Donations of one's choice can be made to Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church or to the Cemetery Fund of St. Demetro Ukrainian Catholic Church, Hilliard, AB T0B 2B0.
