de MILLIANO, Karen
On January 28, 2013, Karen de Milliano of Fort Saskatchewan, AB, passed away suddenly at the age of 54 years.
Karen is lovingly remembered by her husband, Emile of 30 years; her son, Nevin; daughter, Karianne; mother, Sophie Motoska; brother, Garry (Kim) and their family; special cousin, Elaine and her family; all her relatives in Winnipeg and the de Milliano family. She was predeceased by her father, Emil Motoska.
Karen celebrated each day, living the mantra 'LIVE WELL, LAUGH OFTEN, LOVE MUCH.' She lived life to the fullest, sharing her gifts and talents grounded in faith. A devoted wife and mother, she showed deep passion and creativity in the kitchen. To many, Karen was a beloved teacher, fun loving friend, compassionate listener and worldwide traveler. She was blessed with more wisdom than her years would suggest.
From the children she inspired daily for 33 years as a teacher, mentor, consultant and assistant principal, to her own children, husband and countless friends and family, Karen left angel wing imprints on our hearts. As an angel now watching over us, we will honor her by continuing to live by her motto and embrace her legacy well into the future.
