HEATHER, Archibald
On January 31, 2013 Archie passed away peacefully, at the age of 85 years. He is survived by his daughters; Ruth and Jane (Bruce), sons Alan, Ken and David (Debbie), grandchildren; Geoff, Chris (Samantha), Megan, Ian, Jennifer, Michelle, Keegan, Mackenzie, Karen (Brad), Brent, David, Timothy, Lindsay, Brian, Deltin, Kyle, Kassidi; great-grandchildren; David William Heather and Dryden Benoit. Also left to cherish his memory, daughters-in-law Olga and Rita. Lovingly remembered by Alex Waddell (Scott), Amanda Ferenbach (Sean) and Sophie Waddell's family.
Archie was pre-deceased by his wife Marion (2006) and his companion Sophie (2008). His remains have been cremated and a memorial Service will be announced in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Archie may be made to Sportsmanlike Conduct (www.sportsmanlikeconduct.org) a non-profit organization that provides funding to help kids play hockey in and around Edmonton. Sportsmanlike Conduct is affiliated with the Canadian Athletic Club, a sports organization that Archie was a member of for many years.
