Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be
with me in Paradise Luke 23:43
Anita Carrick McCaughey passed peacefully into the presence of the Lord, whom she loved and served, while at home on February 19, 2013, nine days after the death of her husband Roy of 58 years.
She leaves to mourn, her beloved children, Ken (Linda) McCaughey, Barb (Joe) Ruddell, Andy (Jo-Anne) McCaughey. Her grandchildren Josh (Jessicia) McCaughey, Haley Ewasiuk, Tyler, Justin and Miranda McCaughey whom she loved dearly. It was a very special day when any of them visited her. Left to mourn also is her sister Caroline (Jerry) Faries, brother Dan Penman and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her Dad and Mom, Carrick and Anne Penman and brother Brian Penman.
We are confidant that she is now at rest, with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. One who had a passion for winning souls, she would be involved in getting the message out to those around her. Her desire was to see many of her friends join her in Heaven.
A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Clover Bar Cemetery, 2025 Yellowhead Trail N.E., Edmonton. Followed by a Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m. at Wyecliff Bible Chapel, 169 - 22560 Wye Road, Sherwood Park.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Meadowlodge Bible Camp, as expressions of sympathy.
