James HUFF Obituary
November 27, 1923 - August 4, 2013
On August 4, 2013, Jim Huff (Curly) of Spruce Grove died peacefully in his sleep at the age of 89 years.
Jim is survived by the love of his life, Bonnie Ethna, his wife of 62 years. He is lovingly remembered by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Colleen (Murray) Webber, Todd and Kelly Wendel, Jason and Kerri Webber, Ireland, Braidyn, Khloe, Jennifer and Kayla Webber, Jim (Yvonne) Huff, Jennifer and Jeff Couch, Ethan and Evan, Janna Huff and Courtney Bain, Gordon (Maureen) Huff, Shawn and Erin Huff, Kalyn, Mason, Kash and Cruz, Trent and Suzanna Patterson, Carly, Cassidy and Clay, Deb (Terry) Harris, Shantel and Mark Baker, Livia and Kenzie, Sheena Harris.
Jim is also survived by his brother, Carl (Muriel) Huff, his sister Ellen Huff, Linda Huff and many family members and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Nell, his brother, Len, his beloved grandson, Shane Wendel, good friends John Kreizenbeck, Joe and Albert Harris, Albert Wendel, and numerous extended family members who touched his life.
While our family is profoundly devastated by his loss, we cannot help but smile as we remember a kind hearted, loving, cowboy that found pure joy in watching his family grow.
One of the best days of Jim's life, as he described it, was when he renewed his wedding vows to Bonnie in 2005 in the Holy Trinity Parish in Spruce Grove.
Another perfect day for Jim included time with his family, particularly with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and of course, an outing for beer and conversation to a local pub.
Our family would be honored with your presence as we celebrate a life well lived and well loved: Service will be held at The Holy Trinity Parish, 200 Boundary Road, Spruce Grove, Alberta on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at 11:00 a.m.

Dearest Bonnie and Family,

Not-how did he die? But-how did he live?
Not-what did he gain? But-what did he give?
Not-what was his station? But had he a heart?
And-how did he play his God-given part?

To bring back a smile,to banish a tear?
Not-what was his church? not-what was his creed?
But-had he befriended those really in need?
