MILLS, Lynn Carroll (nee LaBrosse)
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Lynn Carroll Mills on March 25, 2014.
Lynn is survived by her loving sons Jason of Whitecourt, AB and Tyler of Wynyard, SK, sister Loretta Ferguson of Saskatoon, brother-in-law Glen McNabb, of Barrie, ON, sister-in-law Edna LaBrosse of Medicine Hat, AB and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband Louis Edward Mills, parents, Margaret and Milton LaBrosse of Saskatoon, sister Madeleine Kautz of Moose Jaw, SK, brother Don (Millie) LaBrosse of Saskatoon, sister Irene LaBrosse of Saskatoon, SK, sister Joyce McNabb of Barrie, ON, brother Ray LaBrosse of Medicine Hat, AB, niece Margo Kautz of Winnipeg, nephew Lance Bracken of Surrey, BC.
Lynn spent her early marriage and career as a full time school teacher. She worked as a substitute teacher while raising her children. Lynn liked to keep her accounting skills sharp and in tax season she would work for accounting firms to help with the yearly rush. When her sons were raised she used her keen mind to concentrate on the accounting end of her and her husband Lou's business: Jollts Pipe Line Consulting Corporation. Lynn loved to laugh and she had a full social calendar which included being a beloved member of the Leduc Oil Wives Club and of the Edmonton Lecky School of Dancing.
Thank you to the giving and caring staff of Lifestyles Options for their great service.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Lifestyle Options, 108 West Haven Drive in Leduc, Alberta (on the second floor).
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Lynn's name to the SCPA (Edmonton Humane Society, 13620 - 163 Street N.W., Edmonton, AB T5V 0B2) or the Heart & Stroke Foundation (10985 - 124 Street, Edmonton, AB T5M 0H9) would be greatly appreciated.
