Glen VAN DEN BIGGELAAR Obituary
It is with great sadness the family of Glen Albert Van Den Biggelaar announces his passing on March 19, 2017 at the age of 46.
Glen is survived by his loving parents Walter and Colette; sister Susan (Craig); brother Marc (Kirsten); nephew Dillan and niece Josie.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at St. Vital Catholic Church, 50 Street and 50 Avenue, Beaumont, AB.
Cremation has taken place and Interment will follow at the Church Cemetery.

I only knew Glen from our online dealings in the Amiga world. He sold me an Amiga 4000T a couple of years back, and he was fun to deal with. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

So sorry to hear of Glens passing. I met him a few times in person and spoke on the phone. He was always willing to help and give his shirt off his back before taking care of his needs. He will be missed.

I got to meet, and have long visits with, Glen a few times, about our retro computing hobby. I even hauled a whole truckload of stuff to him to resell, or it would have been thrown out. He was a very intelligent man, and will be sorely missed by multiple retro computing communities.

Glen was part of my life the last 15 years. He used to drive my children to school. He worked for me. He was a good friend to my husband Corey Johnson. And all in all Glen would help out as much as he could. Best time I just recently learned from my husband was when we took Glen to Vegas. He said that was one of his best trips ever. For some reason I thought he didn't have fun. But my husband corrected me on that. In the photo I have put up. Glen was all about enjoying Vegas so we found 2 of the prettiest girls on the strip for him to take a pic with :) He was so happy. Glen was always appreciative of everything I did for him. He enjoyed my Turkey and Ham dinners. He took all the brown meat and ham home almost every time. LOL! At least he was ate well for a week! Glen was a good guy! Super Smart and will be missed by my family! RIP GLEN!
