HEWKO-MELNYK, Genevieve Mary
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Genevieve Hewko-Melnyk announce her peaceful passing on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the age of 94 years.
She will always be remembered by her loving children, David (Penny) Hewko, Judy (Phil) Klemka, Susan Trudel (Bob Haggart) and Donna Hewko; six grandchildren, Craig Hewko, Amanda Hewko, James (Julie) Klemka, Jenna (David) Kobek, Michael (Kelly) Trudel and Patrick Trudel; six great- grandchildren, as well as numerous extended family and friends. Genevieve was predeceased by her first husband, John Hewko; second husband, John Melnyk; and granddaughter, Genevieve Trudel.
A Visitation for family and friends will take place on Monday, February 12, 2018 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the Connelly-McKinley, St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Albert Catholic Church, 7 St. Vital Ave.
Donations, in memory of Genevieve, may be made to the Foyer Lacombe Nursing Home.
