Arnsdorff, Ross Dugger - Savannah  
Ross Dugger Arnsdorff, 54, passed away Sunday, May 15, 2016. Ross was described by many who knew him as a lover of life and all it had to offer including all living things.  He loved to travel and experience different cultures. He enjoyed the company of others and was always willing to help with a need. He was a dreamer who successfully fulfilled many of the dreams for the betterment of his community and others. Ross was the owner/operator of Gaucho, was a member of the Savannah Chamber of Commerce, the Savannah Small Businesses, and was the recipient of the Savannah Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneur Award in 1998.  He was a member of the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his father, George Tillman Arnsdorff Jr.; and sister, Angie Wendelken. Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Claudine Dugger Arnsdorff; sister, Linda (Gerald) Murray of Waynesboro; brother, Wendell (Cheryl) Arnsdorff of Springfield; seven nieces and nephews; and 13 great-nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, May 19, from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Funeral services will be Friday, May 20, at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Interment will follow in Springfield Cemetery Annex. In lieu of flowers donations may be given to Humane Society of Chatham County, 7215 Sallie Mood Drive, Savannah, GA 31406.

Edwards, David - Darien  
David Edwards, 66, died Saturday, May 14, 2016 at his home. The Effingham County native was retired from the Georgia DNR having managed the Altamaha Wildlife Refuge for many years. David loved fishing and hunting, and even operated charter fishing trips. He is survived by his wife, Leta V. Edwards; sons, Chris Edwards (Lisa) and Michael Edwards (Tia); grandchildren, Chloe Belle Edwards, Savannah Edwards, Cade Edwards, Aleena Edwards, and Eliza Edwards; a brother, Arthur Edwards (Karen); sister, Peggy E. Bevill (Vance); and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be Tuesday, May 24, at 2 p.m. at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery in Springfield. Hall, William Henry - Rincon  
Mr. William Henry Hall, 85, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, April 20, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Hall was a retired millwright from Stone Container and he served as a union steward for 30 years, a leader, and pillar of Oak Grove Church of Christ. He was a founder and charter member of the Rincon Cemetery, member of the Rincon City Council for 14 years, member of the Rincon Jaycees, coached Rincon Little League Baseball, and was an avid outdoorsman. In addition to those many activities, he was also a member of the Hall Brothers' Hunting Club, on Skidaway Island and Vallambrosa Plantation, and other hunting clubs. Mr. Hall is preceded in death by parents, Medicus and Vera Hall; brothers, Warren(Chaudoin) Hall and Jonathan Hall; sisters, Vera Mae Bohannon and Miriam Salmon and great granddaughter, Anna Grace Hall.  Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Myrtle Hall of Rincon; two sons, Stanley Hall of Bloomingdale and Ronald Hall (Sandra) of Clyo; two daughters, Cheryl Masters (Harold) of St. Augustine, FL and Joan Hall Davis (Dennis) of Clyo; brothers, Walton L. Hall of Savannah and Howard Hall (Linda) of Springfield; 4 grandchildren, Shane Davis(Marilyn), Craig Davis, Kyle Hall (Jennifer) and Kelly Hall. Pallbearers include, Keith Redmond, Troy Redmond, Jason Hendrix, Colton Hendrix, Shane Elmore and Rick Stalnaker. Honorary pallbearers include the Elders of Oak Grove Church of Christ, Mike Stone, William Zarkadas and Ritchie Dickey and Deacons of Oak Grove Church of Christ, Mark Rahn, Eric Harris and Ralph Quigley. Memorial contributions may be made to Oak Grove Church of Christ, 306 East 4th Street, Rincon, GA 31326 or to Hospice Savannah, P.O. Box 13190 Savannah, GA 31416.  Visitation was held at Riggs Funeral Home on Friday, April 22, from 6–8 p.m. Funeral services were held at Oak Grove Church of Christ on Saturday, April 23, at 2 p.m. Interment followed in the Rincon Cemetery. Mosley, Danny - Springfield  
Danny H. Mosley, 65, died April 27, 2016 at Memorial Health. The Savannah native had retired at 49 from Bell South. Danny was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church and the Red Angus Cattlemen's Association. He also had his Georgia Real Estate license. Survivors include his wife, Beth Rahn Mosley; daughter, Valarie Mosley; father, Harold "Buddy" Mosley; brother, Keith Mosley; nephews, Brooks Mosley (Jessica) and Dillon Mosley; great niece, Brooklynn Mosley; and great nephew, Eli Mosley. Visitation was Friday, April 29, from 5-7 p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral services were Saturday, April 30, at 11 a.m. at Bethel Lutheran Church. Rahn, Bobby Morgan - Villa Rica  
Bobby Morgan Rahn, 70, died April 22, 2016 at Wellstar Hospital in Douglasville. The Springfield native was retired from Union Camp/International Paper and was a retired Captiain with the 117thGeorgia Air National Guard.  Bobby was an avid gardener, family man and baseball fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin Berry Rahn and Jewel Morgan Rahn; and his brothers, David and Harold Rahn. Survivors include his wife, Jessica "Bootsie" Rahn; son, Stephen Berry Rahn; daughter, Laurie Rahn Kirkland (Michael); two grandchildren, Jagger and Sebastian Kirkland; sisters, Joyce Bonovitch, Jeanette Davis (Bill), Cathy Berryhill (Bruce); brother, Irvin Rahn (Denise); sister-in-law, Ellen Rahn; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 27, from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorial service will be Thursday, April 28, at 1 p.m. at Springfield United Methodist Church. Rahn, Wendell Kirk - Rincon  
Wendell Kirk Rahn, 54, died Saturday, May 14, 2016. The Effingham County native was a career agent with Georgia Farm Bureau Insurance Company for the past 27 years.  Kirk was a 1979 graduate of Effingham Academy, member of the 1980 Middle Georgia College National Championship baseball team, and a member of the 1981-1983 Armstrong State College baseball team.  He was an avid hunter, golfer and baseball coach. Kirk was elected to the Effingham County Sports Hall of Fame in 2005. He was a member of Springfield United Methodist Church, the Followers in Faith Sunday School Class, and the Long Branch Hunting Club.  He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Kimberly D. Rahn; children, Jaime Rahn (Hayley), Jordan Rahn, Kassidy Rahn; brother, Kim Rahn (Rebecca); aunt, Ann Graham (Ralph); nieces and nephews, Paige Rahn Rodriguez (Cesar), Payton Rahn, Robbie Brinson, Courtney Hodges (Clint), and Chelsea Redding; mother-in-law, Louise Riner (Stan); father-in-law, Tommy Dixon (Nancy); and sister-in-law, Gwinea Burns (Steve). Visitation was Tuesday, May 17, from 5-8 p.m. in the funeral home. Funeral services are Wednesday, May 18, at 4 p.m. at Springfield United Methodist Church. Snyder, Linda Lee (Deloach) - Springfield  
Linda Lee Deloach Snyder, 73, went to be with The Lord on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at Georgia Regents Hospital in Augusta. The Effingham County native was a member of First Baptist Church of Springfield, was a Sunday school teacher, taught a prison bible study and the AA group in the prison. She started the first brown bag for seniors in the county and organized and worked in the Our Daily Bread Food Pantry. She received the Jefferson Award – American Institute for Public Service, Book of Golden Deeds – National Exchange Club, GAVA Individual Leadership Award, and the Effingham County Prison – Employee of the Quarter. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester Oregon Deloach and Marian Linder Deloach; and her daughter, Susan Leigh Snyder. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Jack D. Snyder Sr.; sons, Jack D. Snyder, Jr. (Melissa), Chris L. Snyder; Lt. Col. Daniel H. Snyder (Leslie); brother, Marty Deloach (Diane); her aunt, Harriett Craven of Walterboro, S.C.; 5 grandchildren, Brandi Selling, Megan Payton, Noah Snyder, John Monroe, and Ryan Smith; great-grandson, Memphis Selling. Visitation was Friday, April 22, from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Funeral services were Saturday, April 23, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Springfield. Interment was in Cedar Grove Cemetery. Remembrances may be given to First Baptist Church of Springfield, 1435 Hwy. 119 N., Springfield, GA 31329.

Sullivan, Gaile (Scott) - Rincon  
Gaile Scott Sullivan, 70, died Monday, May 16, 2016 at Ogeechee Area Hospice. The Effingham County native was a member of Rincon United Methodist Church and had retired from the Rincon Elementary School after 17 years of service.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip; son, Tommy; parents, T.R. and Elise Scott; and sister, Patricia. She is survived by her sons, Craig Sullivan (Peggy) and Jeremy Sullivan (Tina); six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 18, from 6-8 p.m. in the funeral home. Graveside services will be Thursday, May 19, at 11 a.m. at Effingham Memorial Gardens. A special thanks to the staff at Lakeview Manor for their care for the past two years, as well as Ogeechee Area Hospice. Remembrances: Lakeview Manor Activities Fund.

Woodward, Terry Eugene - Rincon  
Mr. Terry Eugene Woodward, 55, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016. A memorial service was held Friday, April 29, at 4 p.m. in the Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel, with the Reb. Gareth Hegler officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service. Honorary pallbearers were Ralph Roe, Ralph Roe Jr., Chris English, Curtis English, Lee Benson, Billy Ray Kirkland, Frank Roe Jr., and Grady Roe. Terry was born in Aiken, a son of the late Wallace Hampton Woodward and Lottie Mae White Woodward. He had lived in Rincon for the last 15 years. He is survived by his brother, Stephen W. "Steve" (Caroline) Woodward, Aiken; niece, Monica Woodward; nephew, Gareth (Amber) Woodward; great nieces, Piper and Phoebe Woodward, and great nephew, Tristian Woodward. Zettler, Georgia P. - Savannah  
Mrs. Georgia P. Zettler, 88, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2016 at Azalealand Nursing Home. Mrs. Georgia was born in Savannah to the late William and Susie Pulaski.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Calvin B. Zettler, and a sister, Helen Wise.  She had lived in Guyton for a number of years before moving to Savannah.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rincon where she was a member of the W.M.U., and the Jolly Singers.  After working for Cargill & Company for a number of years, she accepted a position with the Chatham County Board of Education and retired from there.  She was a former Pink Lady at Effingham Hospital, and a member of the Red Hatters. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Silvia and Kenneth Frost; son and daughter-in-law, Glenn A. and Patty Zettler; grandchildren, Tara F. Chapman, Holly F. Wade, Jason M. Zettler, and Rachel R. Zettler; great-grandchildren, Chloe A. Chapman, and Garrett Chapman, as well as a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 4, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 5, at 10 a.m. in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
