Wendelken, Betty Jo - Rincon  
Betty Jo Wendelken, 81, passed away May 18, 2016. Born in Blackshear to the late Cephis M. Long and Willa Roberson Tebeau.  She retired from Tetley Tea and was a member of Goshen United Methodist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Wendelken Sr; son, John Wendelken; and sister, Orean Long. Survivors include her children, Wanda Hill (Don) of Savannah, Robert L. Wendelken Jr. (Jackie) of Rincon; sister, Wilma Clifton of Savannah; brother, T. R. Long of Waycross; grandchildren, Christopher Wendelken, Rebekah Hill, and Robert Hill; step-grandchildren, Tommy Hall, Connie McGuire, Kathleen Cowart (Rick); one great-grandchild; 14 step-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation was Saturday, May 21, from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. in the chapel. Interment followed in Goshen United Methodist Church Cemetery. Remembrances may be given to Goshen United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 107 Goshen Rd., Rincon, GA 31326.

Woodward, Terry Eugene - Rincon  
Mr. Terry Eugene Woodward, 55, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2016. A memorial service was held Friday, April 29, at 4 p.m. in the Shellhouse Funeral Home Chapel, with the Reb. Gareth Hegler officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service. Honorary pallbearers were Ralph Roe, Ralph Roe Jr., Chris English, Curtis English, Lee Benson, Billy Ray Kirkland, Frank Roe Jr., and Grady Roe. Terry was born in Aiken, a son of the late Wallace Hampton Woodward and Lottie Mae White Woodward. He had lived in Rincon for the last 15 years. He is survived by his brother, Stephen W. "Steve" (Caroline) Woodward, Aiken; niece, Monica Woodward; nephew, Gareth (Amber) Woodward; great nieces, Piper and Phoebe Woodward, and great nephew, Tristian Woodward. Wratchford, Charles Raymond "Chuck" - Springfield  
Charles Raymond "Chuck" Wratchford, 59, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2016, at Medical University of South Carolina. The Ohio native served in the U.S. Army, was retired from Coastal State Prison, was a member of the Hinesville Officials Association, and had been an official for 38 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Lavon Wratchford and Regina Catherine Bougcki Wratchford; and step-son, Jason Dasher. Survivors include his wife, Glenda Wratchford; son, Charles Harold Wratchford (Amanda); step-daughters, Melissa Kay James (Ricky) and Melinda Lee McNally (Nathan); nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Tina Blankenship of Lexington, S.C.; brothers, Michael Wratchford of Atlanta, Larry Wratchford of Akron, Ohio, and Paul "Skip" Shaffer of California; and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation will Wednesday, April 20, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral services will be Thursday, April 21, at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Interment will follow in Ellabell United Methodist Church Cemetery.
