Ashley Nicole Howard, 14, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2011.
Born in Savannah on Oct. 10, 1996 Ashley was a freshman at Effingham County High School where she played softball. Ashley was always smiling and full of life. She loved being the leader and caretaker of all of her cousins and sister Casey. She loved her pets, Gilbert, and her black lab Cloe. She enjoyed camping with her family and always wanting to take a friend. She loved King fishing on the Reel Life Fishing Team with her Dad, riding her golf cart, mud bogging, talking on the phone, texting and Facebooking… Ashley had a very loving and forgiving heart.
Survivors include her parents, Brandon and Cindy Howard of Rincon; sister, Casey Howard of Rincon; grandparents, Johnny and Delores Howard of Port Wentworth, Leo and Judy Ferrebee of West Virginia; great-grandfather, Fred Holmes of West Virginia; aunts and uncles, Tara and Ronnie Benton of Guyton, David and Gina Dally of Dublin, Skeeter and Julie Howard of Wilmington Island, and the late Rebecca Ferrebee of West Virginia; cousins, Aaron, Karsyn, Kinnett, Quincy, Stephanie and David.
Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 23, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Sept. 24 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Rincon.
Interment will follow in Effingham Memorial Gardens.
