Mr. Larry Randall Turner, age 61, died Monday, June 10, 2013 at Memorial Health University in Savannah following a brief illness.
The Bulloch County native was a 1970 graduate of Statesboro High School. Larry was employed for many years with Blitch Place Farms and also as a truck driver with T-BO Propane. He had lived in Effingham County and Bloomingdale for several years. Larry was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents, John R. Turner and Betty Rushing Turner.
Surviving are his wife of 30 years, Ann Campbell Turner of Bloomingdale; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Wayne Turner and Chris and Sonya Turner, all of Statesboro; two daughters and a son-in-law, Aimee and Keith Albert of Rincon and Rebekah Turner of Bloomingdale; four grandchildren, Cain and Mikie Turner of Statesboro and Emily and Evan Albert of Rincon; two sisters, Peggy Beachum and Cathy Deal, both of Statesboro; and his mother-in-law, Bonnie M. Campbell of Statesboro. Several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.
Visitation was Thursday, June 13 at Bible Baptist Church in Statesboro, followed by funeral services with Rev. Jon Edmisten officiating.
Interment was in Bulloch Memorial Gardens.
