Paul David Wilder

Paul David Wilder, 76, passed away Saturday morning, March 10, 2012 at his home.
Paul was born and raised in Plant City, Florida. He graduated from Plant City High School in 1954, University of Florida Forest Ranger School in 1955, and the University of Florida in 1960 where he got his Bachelor Degree in Science & Forestry. He was a land surveyor in Georgia, South Carolina and Florida. For 27 years he was the owner of Wilder Surveying and Mapping, was a member of the Surveying & Mapping Society, and was the former county surveyor for Effingham and McIntosh Counties. Mr. Wilder was a member of the First Baptist Church of Rincon and the Brotherhood Sunday School Class.
 Surviving are his wife, Nina Gail Wilder; two sons, John David Wilder and Paul Gregory Wilder; only granddaughter, Jessica Marie Wilder; brother, Henderson Wilder; two sisters, Sarah Wilder and Virginia Eeltink; cousins, nieces, nephews, and many beloved friends.
Visitation will be Monday, March 12 at the Strickland funeral home.
Funeral services were Tuesday, March 13 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Rincon.
Interment followed in Rincon Cemetery.
