Clara Dugger Rahn, 91, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2012 at Effingham Extended Care Facility.
The Effingham County native was a member of Springfield United Methodist Church and the Bible Studies Sunday school class. She was a homemaker and faithful caregiver to her loved ones. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton M. Rahn; her parents, Herman and Laucy Dugger; her son, Harold C. Rahn; and her sister, Matilda Rahn.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Johnny Johnson of Tybee Island; grandchildren, Scott Rahn of Richmond Hill, Karla Harris of Kennesaw, Tony Rahn of Knoxville, Tenn., Jennifer Johnson of Savannah, Joanna Rodenberg of Savannah and William O. Johnson III of Rincon; six great-grandchildren; sister, Claudine Arnsdorff of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday, Dec. 5, from 2-3:30 p.m. at Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral will be Wednesday, Dec. 5 at 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Interment will follow at Springfield Cemetery Annex.

A special thanks to the staff of the Effingham Extended Care Facility for the loving care they provided during her stay.
