Kay Dyer Gnann, 57, passed away Friday, Oct. 12, 2012 at her residence.

The Chatham County native was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed gardening, canning, hunting and fishing. She was preceded in death by her parents, William James Dyer Sr. and Annie Mae Lanier Dyer; and husband, Tommy Gnann.
Survivors include her children, Katy G. Noble (Wendell) of Warner Robins, Thomas J. Gnann (Magan) and Patrick W. Gnann, both of Clyo; grandson, Wendell Noble III of Warner Robins; brother, William J. "Willie" Dyer Jr. (Joy) of Tybee Island; sisters, Linda Hancock Dyer of Pooler, Julia Dyer Strickland (Larry) of Savannah and Cindy Dyer Townsend (Gerald) of Springfield; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was Sunday, Oct. 14, followed by a Rosary service in the chapel of Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home.
Funeral services were Monday, Oct. 15 in the Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Home chapel. Interment followed in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family would like to thank Leon Walls, Sue Davis, Mandi Rowe and Tammie Dixon for the care that was given to Kay.
