Johnny Colbert Obituary

RONDA — Johnny Robert Colbert, 73, of Ronda, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2015, at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. Mr. Colbert was born in Wilkes County on June 20, 1941, to the late Eugene and Lessie Waddell Colbert. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Lucy Colbert Pruitt. He is survived by his children, Dwayne Colbert, Tammie Luffman, Johnny Daryl Colbert and wife Jennifer, Robert Darren Colbert and Angela Colbert; brother, Bobby Colbert and wife Shirley; also several loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at Knobb's Baptist Church by the Rev. Bobby Prevette. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The Colbert family will receive friends Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at Johnson Funeral Home form 6 to 8 p.m. Johnson Funeral Home is serving the Colbert family.
