Roberto (Bobby) A. Franco, 67, passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2013 surrounded by his family. Roberto was a lifelong resident of Clint, Texas and a lifelong parishoner of San Lorenzo Catholic Church. He was a hardworker all of his life and was owner of Bobby Franco Trucking. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is preceded in death by his father, Feliciano Franco and his brother, Ricardo Franco. Roberto is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Ida Franco; sons, Roberto Jr. (Sandy) and Mario (Cindy) Franco; daughter, Rosie (Joe) Hurt; his seven grandchildren, Crystal, Brianna, Alyssa, Samantha, Ricky, Angela and Katie; great grandchildren, Christopher and Kristen. He is also survived by his mother Romana Franco; and sisters Rachel (Jr.) Macias and Emma Franco. Bobby will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A Rosary will be said at 7:00 PM, Friday, April 5, 2013 at San Lorenzo Catholic Church. Mass of the Ressurection will be said at 8:30 AM, Saturday, April 6, 2013 at San Lorenzo Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery. Pallbearers to serve will be Roberto Franco Jr., Mario Franco, Herman Apodaca, Felipe Martinez, Victor Franco and Ricardo Franco Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Ernesto Chaparro Sr., David Franco, Ruben Rivera, Ricky Franco and Rudy Silva.
