SHADRICK, CHARLIE - El Paso
Charlie Shadrick, youngest son of Roy and Bertha Shadrick, has entered into the kingdom of heaven as promised in John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life". Charlie accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and we are comforted by GOD's promise that Charlie is now with our mother and father. Our cousin Juanita Fierro shared with us these verses from GOD's word that we feel fit Charlie well 2 Timothy 4:7-8 "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day-and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing". Charlie followed his own incorrigible path through life, but his love for GOD was undeniable and his love for his family was never-ending especially for his nephews and nieces whom he called his "fleas". He would have gladly given his life for them as well as his brothers, sister, and friends. We will always remember his charm, quick wit, and tenacity. Charlie is survived by his brothers, Manny, Robert, Roy, Mike, and Druary and his baby sister, Brenda whom he absolutely adored. All his "fleas" include Brenda, Noelle, Nancy, Ana Bertha, Druary Jr., Robbie, Matthew, Ryan, Lizbeth, Christian, Julia, Aridel, Michael, Roy, Juliet, Moises, Skye plus the grand fleas Nathaniel, Nicholas, Brissa, Hailey, Jose, and Preston Druary. He is also survived by uncles Ramon and Enrique Rios. Our cousins Luis Carlos Rios, Bertha Rios, Ludivina Rios and so many more cousins and friends were very supportive until the very end. The Shadrick family would like to express our eternal gratitude to Bob and Mary Patterson for praying with Charlie and leading him to accept Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Private Service will be held at a later date.
