KENNEL, BARBARA - El Paso
Barbara Kennel, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and teacher, passed away on January 2, 2016 at the age of 74 in San Antonio. Barbara was born in Springfield, Ohio on August 9, 1941 and graduated from Tecumseh High School (Ohio) as a proud member of the Tecumseh Class of 1959 and the Tecumseh Band and Choir. Following Tecumseh, Barbara obtained her Bachelor of Science from Memphis State University in 1966. Barbara was a beautiful light in the world of so many and will be deeply missed. In 2010, Barbara was diagnosed with advanced non small cell lung cancer and chose MD Anderson in Houston for treatment, in part due to their open clinical trial involving proton radiation. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to MD Anderson in Houston; to Dr. Z. Liao and Dr. V.
