Edlinda R. Gutierrez, 81, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, went to be with the Lord, and the Blessed Virgin Mary on Thursday, September 12, 2013 in Round Rock, Texas. Visitation will be held in Beck Funeral Home, Round Rock, Texas, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Rosary at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 15, 2013. Mass will be held at 10:00a.m. on Monday, September 16, 2013, in St Helens Catholic Church, Georgetown, Texas. Interment will follow at Our Lady of The Rosary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to M.D. Anderson Medical Center in her honor. Edlinda Gutierrez was a life long resident of El Paso, Texas. She was born on January 25, 1932. She was a graduate of El Paso High School and Texas Western College. Edlinda worked for the El Paso Independent School District for 33 years as an elementary school teacher and was loved by many throughout her life. In the summer of 1958, she met her husband, Albert William Gutierrez at a wedding, and they were married later that year on December 27. Survivors: Husband, Albert; Children, William Gutierrez, Jorge Gutierrez, Gigi and husband, Frankie Krobusek, Mary Loera; Grandchildren, Lindsey Loera, Macy Loera, Derek Gutierrez, Sydney Loera; Sister, Alicia and husband, Dr. Steve Sarre; and Brother, Eduardo Rodriguez. The family would like to express a deep thanks and appreciation to: Dr. Oscar M.
