Hector "Chacho" Ramiro Varela, 78 passed away on Friday, July 9, 2010. He was born in Casas Grandes, Chih. Mexico, to Nicolas Varela and Guadalupe Soto Varela. The Lord has called upon our loving brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was a man with a big heart, full of joy and life and we will especially miss his witty sense of humor. He lived his life to the fullest and will be greatly missed by all who knew him, but we find comfort knowing that he is no longer in pain and is with the Lord. He worked for J.C. Penney, Fort Bliss and Sib Abraham Law Firm. Ramiro was preceded in death by his parents Nicolas and Guadalupe Varela; sister Hermila and his brothers, Rodolfo, Ignacio, Guillermo, and Juan Jose. He is survived by his wife, Ernestina Ramirez Varela. His ex-wife Petra Lucero Varela and their children; Yolanda Arteaga (Adolfo), Ramiro Varela Jr., and Blanca Varela. He is also survived by four grandchildren: Christopher Arteaga, Joshua Arteaga, Victoria Velazquez and Steven Velazquez. As well as by his sister Ramona Elva Granados, and two brothers, Roberto Varela and Jose Aaron Varela and numerous nieces, nephews, and sisters-in-law.
