Irene Fierro passed peacefully on November 9, 2012, in South Pasadena, California. Irene was born on September 24, 1950. Former resident of El Paso, she graduated from Irvin High School in 1969; she worked for the El Paso Juvenile Probation Department. She resided in South Pasadena, CA where she retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Irene was preceded in death by her parents, Rafael and Mary Fierro and brother David Fierro. She is survived by sisters, Sally Fierro, El Paso, Texas, Rebecca Fierro, Los Angeles, CA, brothers Rafael Fierro, and Wally Fierro (Marie), Los Angeles CA, nieces and nephews, Daniel, Ralph (Juanita), Valerie, Nicole, Michael, Gabriel, Katherine, Darlene (Harvey), and David, Luke, Lauren, Dominic, Isaiah, Zach, Jacqueline, many cousins, friends, and aunts.. Irene, you are now free from pain and celebrating with Mom, Dad and David. You will forever remain in our hearts and we thank you for teaching us the meaning of love and bravery. Rest in Peace beautiful dear sister, we will always love you and your memory will live in our hearts forever. Services were held in Los Angeles, CA. At her request, Irene's ashes will be spread over the ocean, Redondo Beach Pier, her favorite fishing spot.
